Bay Area Alerion news continues to trickle in. I was recently put in contact with Patti Walters and Len Ortolano, who purchased ‘Two Block Fox’ two years ago and renamed her ‘Encore,’ now berthed in Redwood City, CA. I am updating the roster and site accordingly.

AE28 ‘MINNA’ FOR SALE

Also, I learned Barney Barnett has decided to sell ‘Minna,’ AE28 #254, located in Belvedere, CA. Here is information he provided:

Hello fellow Alerion Sailors, last year I got side-swiped by an SUV while riding my hand cycle in San Anselmo. The accident really screwed up my right shoulder so I went from using crutches to a wheelchair. The use of our boat has taken a serious hit so we have decided with much regret to put it up for sale. “Minna” was built in 2004 (#254) and is in excellent condition. It comes with  Tacktick instruments, two suits of sails, full and cockpit covers, blue Awlgrip painted topsides and beautiful bright work. The Volvo engine was just serviced and works well. If you know of anyone interested in purchasing a great boat have them give me a call at 415-459-0589 or 415-450-8507. The boat is located at The San Francisco Yacht Club in Belvedere.
